We are recruiting a dedicated new team!
We’re looking for talented, senior, mid-weight and junior software engineers and an information architect to help shape our vision…
What? You. Smart. Thing. empowers individuals and organisations to access and share personally identifiable information throughout supply-chains, on a ‘need-to-know’ basis. Our propriety platform reduces the overheads and complexity of managing data privacy, whilst generating customer value, loyalty and operational efficiency.
Who? A subsidiary of established bespoke software company, Enable International, we set out in January 2015 to help organisations develop ‘smart’ products and services that deliver improved performance by giving individuals ownership and control of their data.
Why? Building on alpha product launches in the transport sector, we require a dedicated software product engineering team to help develop our platform in order for us to scale. At its core You. Smart. Thing. is a cloud-based consent matrix and personal assistant API, that securely exchanges information across organisations and supply-chains, alleviating the bottlenecks to information flow that are caused by legacy systems that don’t talk to each other. It combines GDPR with IoT to integrate people, places and things.
Where? You’ll be based in the engine room of the UK, in newly refurbished state-of-the-art city centre offices, located less than a minutes walk from Birmingham New Street station. The secure bike racks and on-site gym are complimentary.
Which? Our platform is primarily .net, and we are focused on the enterprise B2B and public sector marketplace. That said, interoperability and maintaining an API and SDKs that can power brilliant consumer experiences is central to our modus operandi. Whatever your level of knowledge and experience, above all you’ll need to adaptable, technology stack agnostic, and able to treat each functional challenge as a new opportunity.
