A Sector Specific Approach
Harnessing a shared economy
Personal data is rarely peculiar to one vertical market or business sector.
The emerging personal information economy creates new opportunities for combined services that make sense of our data in increasingly more valuable ways. That’s why, building on academic research into identity governance, during 2015-18 You. Smart. Thing. secured over £4.2m in public and private sector investment to develop our proprietary cloud-based ‘consent matrix’ architecture.
Accessible from anywhere in the world via an Application Programming Interface (API), the You. Smart. Thing. consent matrix is a ‘constructive innovation’ that improves supply-chain integration and market penetration.

The value of personal data (across Europe alone) is forecast to exceed €1Tn annually by 2020. The World Economic Forum has classified it as “a new asset class”. Yet day-by-day we create, and ignore, mountains of untapped personal data.
You. Smart. Thing. enables people to recycle this digital waste, making consent-driven personalisation a unique selling point.
