Bringing ideas and concepts to life is what drives me personally, through the full life cycle of projects, from analysis and design to proof-of-concept, implementation and support.
I am always keen to learn and share new skills with a team. With years’ experience as lead on projects, and as a senior member of a technical team, I bring ideas and enthusiasm to the table whilst motivating and encouraging others to do likewise.
My previous software development experience means I have well-established relationships in the healthcare and energy industries, that have in-turn enabled strong and diverse skills growth, and the ability to work with many different types of organisations and people.
Mentoring students and junior team members have been the most rewarding aspect of my career so far, as we learn together that technology is not just about writing code, it is about sharing challenging problems, conceiving thoughtful solutions and building stronger relationships.
Outside of technology (slightly), I am an independent photographer, marking moments in time, whether it be a new local restaurant, celebrated outdoor event, or someone’s special day. This, of course, gives me an excuse to travel; focusing on localised produce, independent cultures, and personal stories. Technology helps me do this, of course; all of my work can be found at http://robburg.es.
