Gaining knowledge and motivation on accessibility solutions

When: December 18th, 10:30 – 15:30

Where: The Helicon, One South Place, London, EC2M 2RB

This showcase will enable delegates to gain knowledge and motivation on accessibility solutions that could be embedded by the industry today. The workshop is aimed at those leading accessibility within rail operators, those working in rail franchise bid teams and those responsible for specifying rail accessibility requirements in the industry and government.

RSSB Accessibility Showcase

Presenting the opportunities and technologies available to improve rail accessibility, this showcase takes place at our Helicon office in London on Wed 18 December 10:30 to 15:00, followed by networking until 15:30.

It is timely given the increasing recognition across the UK railway that a focus on better understanding and meeting the needs of all potential passengers will be key to the next modal shift, where rail expects to see increasing competition from the convenience of other low-carbon transport options, such as autonomous electric vehicles.

The showcase will include demonstrations from the innovators that have developed and piloted accessibility solutions as part of the RSSB innovation competition. It will also provide an opportunity to hear from RSSB and the latest rail research, tools and information available to assist organisations in the accessibility sphere.
