Destination Reinvention

This year’s event will cover all the latest in digital innovation, marketing and tourism trends & data and look at the latest initiatives to promote sustainable tourism strategies and opportunities for the sector.

TMI supports destination management professionals throughout their career,  from students to established senior practitioners.  Their members are drawn from a wide variety of organisations: destination management organisations, local government, national tourist organisations, visitor attractions, consultancies and the higher education sector.

TMI organises two annual events: the Annual Convention and the Hot Topic debate, both excellent opportunities to hear the latest developments in destination management and network with fellow professionals.

Visit their website here.

This year’s conference will be held in the historic city of Lincoln, on the 11th and 12th October 2023.

Our CEO, Chris Thompson, will present a case study deployments of our travel demand management platform in Colchester, Coventry, and Shakespeare’s England. Chris will explain how our ‘eco-algorithm’ is being also developed with help from Cumbria Tourism and Visit Cornwall to improve visitor experience, mitigate impact on the environment, and grow the economic output of tourist destinations.
